Fantasy Premier League
Anybody doing this again this year? not sure who it was that created the league last year but there's an option to just renew the league rather than having to create a new one.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
I’m in. Any ideas yet?

Salah and Sterling for sure for me, both captain options.

Diop great value, like Jota and Dendoncker too.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Jota loses value as i believe he's a forward on there this year, same as Deulofeu.

It seems a lot harder this year, everybody has gone up in price and their are no dirt cheap players at like 3.5M you can just abandon on your bench to save money.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Kelly (AWB replacement at palace) and Rico of Bournemouth (who will start the season due to injuries) are in the bargain bucket if you’re shopping there.

Still think Jota is improving and only 6.5. Finished last season on fire.

Everton have great early fixtures so will likely go For sigurdsson too.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Yeah i had Jota last yearf but he was listed as a midfielder so gets clean sheet points and an extra point per goal, now he's listed as a striker while probably not playing as an out and out striker more of a number 10.

Chelsea have a very good run of fixtures after the first week, just have no idea who's actually going to start upfront for them

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Agreed on Chelsea, also have Jorginho who may well play further forward and is on penalties, and only 5m. Agreed we don’t know who will start up front for them.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Go for penalty takers due to VAR. got nobes in my team. Jiminez, king, salah and de bruyne are value for that reason

diehardhammer 1:57 Fri Jul 26
Re: Fantasy Premier League
just seen Ceballos for arsenal is only £5.5m

should get a few assists and goal or 2

crystal falace 2:12 Fri Jul 26
Re: Fantasy Premier League
think Haller may well be our penalty taker this year, assuming noble isnt going to be a regular/guaranteed starter

Browno22 2:18 Fri Jul 26
Re: Fantasy Premier League
Can see that happening falace but I think nobes will start the season as taker. Maybe when he misses one it will change

Re: Fantasy Premier League
I really enjoyed it last year, my first year doing it. Can't remember who organised it, hopefully they will renew it.

Can't decide on Sigurdsson or Richarlison as my Everton mid, leaning towards the latter but I guess it's always a crapshoot at the beginning of the season.

Will be laying off West Ham players until the second week! Hopefully, that will see us score a hatful against City! Dendonker and Rico look good for the money as they will probably get playing time early.

It's difficult to see clear forward options. Hopefully Haller will smash that! Might take a punt on Greenwood, he's cheap and I think he might play early doors. Plus he has a great name for a West Ham fan!

Re: Fantasy Premier League
I did really well last year stocking up on Liverpool defenders, not much chance of doing that this season with their price tags

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Cheers KD.

Not sure on KDB, think he'll play deeper this year, plus we'll see more of Foden.

Both Siggy and Rich are good options. Ceballos seems fairly priced.

Currently going cheap up top with Ashley Barnes, King and Jota.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Also think the Scouse defenders are not as high as could.have been - VVD looks great at 6.5.

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Have avoided Salah Mane Firmino EARLY DOORS as they’ve been in Africa and S America
Am showing some loyalty / wishful thinking by including Haller Fornals & Anderson.
As usual I hold my nose and include Captain Harold Kane.
